I love this book! Turtles All The Way Down by John Green is a very special book that will stay with me for a long time. The writing is very well done. The way he describes Aza (the protagonist) and her feelings is incredible. For me, it felt almost as if I was feeling what she was feeling. He would describe her getting anxious and I would feel extremely unsettled. I also felt bad for her, because it felt she was suffering and there was nothing I could do to help. When talking about her anxiety he managed to describe the feeling perfectly and anxiety is almost impossible to describe. I thought the protagonist Aza was an amazing character, she was so relatable. She made the book much more realistic and easy to connect with. I thought the way John Green wrote about Aza's mental illness was perfect. He had a way of making small moments into big moments that might even cause you to shed a tear or two.

The other characters were very well put together as well, each had their own unique personality and problems to face. They are definitely characters you will fall in love with. The plot was not as good as I feel it could have been. There were some sections of the book where nothing really happened. I found it harder to indulge myself in the book during these dry spots. However, the plot was definitely not bad and for the most part, the book flowed quite nicely. This book wasn't too intense which I like, sometimes books can be very emotionally draining when they are extremely intense but this book was a nice, easy read. Of course, there is nothing wrong with a book that gets you sobbing, but sometimes that's just not what you need!

Overall I definitely recommend this book! It is a perfect book for someone who wants an easy, yet extremely enjoyable read. The writing is beautiful, and the characters are surely memorable. This book will stay with me for a long time. It changed my idea of what mental health is, and how people learn to cope with it. I definitely encourage you to read Turtles All The Way Down by John Green and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
